Skin Boosters Injectable Teatment

Skin booster injections are a cosmetic procedure that can improve skin quality by injecting hyaluronic acid (HA) into the skin. HA is a natural substance that the body produces to maintain moisture levels, but people lose about 1% of their HA stores each year after age 30, which can lead to fine lines and volume loss. Skin boosters can help hydrate and firm the skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and improve skin tone and texture.
Skin booster injections are versatile and can treat a variety of skin concerns, including dehydrated skin, early sagging, and crepey skin. The needles used for the injections are very fine, so the procedure is usually minimally uncomfortable and some people describe it as a light pinch. Local anesthetic is available for people with a low pain threshold.
Common side effects of skin booster injections include temporary lumps, bruising, and swelling at the injection sites, but these minor effects usually subside within 3–4 days. To help with swelling and bruising, it’s recommended to limit alcohol and caffeine consumption for the first few days after treatment. It can also take several weeks for the full results of skin booster treatments to appear. The number of treatments needed depends on the brand of skin booster used, but some recommend a course of two to three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart.
